GREETINGS MEMBERS: A new season soon to be on us so the Management Board has asked me to start our Club Championship Events for the 2024/25 season. If you go to the ”Club Championship Shedule” & ”Club Championship Calender” lins below you will see this years shedule along with a calender showing all revevant dates. Please read carefully so that all info is understood. OPENING DAY 2021 29/08/21

Last seasons Singles Champions , John Morena & Julie Gartner putting down this years first bowls along with Berri / Barmera council Mayor Peter Hunt , Club President Kelven Carter, Secretary Sheila Robinson and Club Patrons Gloria Burns and Dean Lines, officially opening the 2021/22 season.

 

 

CENTENARY EVENT :  21st -23rd July . 2021

This last weekend saw the Club host 2 of Australia’s best ever bowlers for our celebration of the Centenary of the Township of Barmera.

Our guests arrived at the club for a ‘Meet and Greet’ on Friday Evening and  immediatly felt at ease in our friendly environment

Saturday saw them conduct a Coaching Clinic for approx 30 people

 

SATURDAY NIGHT saw the Club Host a Sports Night and Dinner (prepared by Stewie Ric ketts) for almost 80 people. We had a number of Special Guests in attendance including Mayor Peter Hunt and Chris Morrow and Peter Vivian representing the Barmera Hotel/Motel . We would also like to acknowledge all of our other Sponsors, Berri Betta Electrical, Nippys Fruit Juices, Almondco, Bridgestone Tyre and Mag Centre, Caddieshack, and all other donators of small prizes for our raffles.

SUNDAY saw 22 teams compete for a prize pool of $2000 in a Open Fours Competition, with the team of Gerrin Jenke, Neville Jenke, Candice Raison and James Bodnar taking home the Winners Prize.
